That old cliche saying of "time flies" really is so incredibly true. It's hard for me to believe that it was already 9 years ago that I officially took the leap and launched my own wedding and event planning business. I was 26, a newlywed, and had been working as the Events Director for a country club for 4 years. I really loved my job at the venue, but wanted more. I wanted to be involved with couples on every aspect of their wedding not just the catering and layout. All the pretty little details, guest experience elements, timelines and logistics, are what I really had a passion for. So my amazing hubby encouraged me to follow my dreams and create my own job working for myself where I could be a part of all those things.
So now here we are 9 years later and I can honestly say that even with all the ups and downs of owning a business, I am still just as excited and passionate about it as I was on day 1 so many years ago. I feel so blessed with how Heartfelt Weddings & Events has grown to what it is today, and I cannot wait for all that is still in store for the future.
